Great site just found my grandmother’s home listed at 53 Chatham Street in 1877. Her name was Mary Murphy her father was listed at the address, James Murphy a Flax Dresser I assume in the linen industry. They moved to Scotland between then and 1890. Mary married my Grandfather William Monaghan in Johnstone, Renfrew. My Great Grandfather, John Monaghan, was from Omagh, Tyrone born c. 1846. Cannot find any records on his parents.
